When you live in a country where there is so much injustice, there comes a point when your denial turns into apathy that your social conscience is numbed. You do away with shades of gray, rejecting relativistic problems because the truth is too hard to accept .  Then comfort your fear with lies like ‘If they just worked a little harder…’
